URL to Video
Drop a link in the chat. Orange fetches the article, extracts the title and 3-7 key points, and proposes an angle. You approve, and it generates the full video: script, voiceover, visuals, music, subtitles.
How it works
Paste the URL
Any article, blog post, or landing page. No signup to the source, no browser extension. Orange reads the page server-side.
Review what it pulled
You see the detected title, word count, the key points it wants to turn into scenes, and a suggested angle (pacing, tone, platform). Swap the angle or start over if it missed.
Hit generate
The extracted points flow into the same script, voice, image, and music pipeline as any other video. One prompt, one finished short.
Why it matters
Built on the existing pipeline
URL content feeds into the same Understanding Layer and script generator that handles typed prompts. You get the same scene-level editing, voice selection, and 33-language support.
Article facts stay intact
The extractor uses Mozilla Readability (the same engine as Firefox Reader View) to strip ads and nav. Key points are LLM-distilled from the cleaned text, not hallucinated.
Not just blog URLs
Landing pages, announcements, documentation, product launch posts. Anything with a real article body. Paywalled, JS-only, and video platform URLs are out of scope for now.
Your angle, not the article's
Add a steer with the URL. "Punchy 30s TikTok with a sarcastic hook" overrides the default angle. Or approve the suggested angle if it looks right.
